Allulose Syrup
Definition
This natural functional monosaccharide liquid is made from corn starch and sucrose through enzymatic isomerization, refining, and concentration. It contains ≥70% allulose (solids basis). It is a colorless to light yellow, clear liquid that is easily miscible with water and liquid ingredients. Its sweetness is approximately 70% of sucrose, with zero added sucrose, making it suitable for sugar-free and low-calorie food processing.
Benefits
1. Low-calorie sugar control: With only 0.24 kcal/g (approximately 1/10 of sucrose), it is not fully absorbed by the small intestine, has a GI value of ≈0, and does not raise blood sugar, making it suitable for those trying to control their blood sugar levels.
